I couldn't stop smiling as I prepared their package this morning for delivery. Bughaw was as royal and manly as his name promises to be. Feeling ko may laban siya kay Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge! =)
Bughaw is probably the most manly baby I've met so far, and it just makes me smile when I remember how his parents and I were saying "Ang macho!" Look at how he flexes his muscles! Aliw talaga! Baby Photography always makes my day.
I hope this post made you smile too. Happy Monday! =)

Our latest Baby Photography session with Triplets Donna, Demi and Chris. They were 2 months old, and were absolutely wonderful! I am deeply touched and honored to have been able to share a few hours with them, documenting an afternoon in their lives. It was a truly amazing experience =)
Sharing one teaser shot from our photo session less than a week ago...more to come soon! =)
Do you have triplets too? =) Ok, maybe twins? No? Then maybe you have a baby, or will be having one soon... Give us a call and we would love to capture wonderful moments of you and your child... 5793677 / 0939-YELWSUN(9359786) / firstname.lastname@example.org
Oh my, how can you keep yourself from pinching & squishing this cutie chubby baby!!! Ay grabe ka-cute! So that was my challenge for the day - to keep my hands on the camera! heheh =) Here are some teasers from this Baby Photography Session, more to come with the rest of the family =)
Lets start the day right with these cute, kakagigil smiles --- some faves from our Baby Photography project last month.
_ 2011 has been amazing! At home, the kids have gotten noisier as Luis learns to talk more and play even more! I think no one is happier about this than Bea, who’s thankful that her brother is past the drooling-crawling stage and finally reached the ‘yey-lets-play!’ age. They look so cute playing together (and fighting at times..). Yes, they’re still growing waaay tooo fast.
At The Yellow Sun Studio, we’ve become buzzing busy bees the past few months! I wasn’t able to post updates since November so I’ll just share the highlights. I’ve met such wonderful, loving people, had pretty interesting projects with our local celebrities, and ended the year with heart warming and kilig moments!
So here are the highlights …
_Meet baby snow white, Lia, who turned 1 recently, flaunting her ultra-fair-skinned-cuteness!
And Lia's mom, Jenny, who's also as white as snow... She was 6 months pregnant at that time...
This is Chloe, doin her jump shots at the studio while waiting for her family...
...to pose for their Christmas Photo Gift Cards.. see her happy energy ...
Acey gave us a break from kiddie cuteness with her sexy, sultry photo session...
Are you a fan of Chef Tristan? I am!!! =) If ur not yet a fan, go check him out and I'm sure you'll be one in no time. Great food, good looks, charm and wit is an irresistible combination!
Visit the newly renovated Packo's Grill, Quezon City for great food and a relaxing ambiance. Chef Tristan recommends their Three Way Adobo and Sinigang na Bulalo. Oh, i think i have to point out that they serve only the food and not the chef! =)
A Triple Treat! I am honored to have been able to capture precious moments for the Reyes Triplets. They were celebrating their 7th birthday together with their grandmother's 75th birthday. Makes me wonder now how many Filipino Triplets there actually are...
Here are the triplets posing for their Family Portrait...
And their Lola Linda posing for her 75th Birthday Invitation, and their ate so beautiful and shy =)
Manuel's Star Wars themed 7th birthday party was a surprise from his parents. All the details were prepared by his parents themselves. The decors were superb, the food was really yummy (I kept going back to the buffet table... you know, to take photos of the food...) Well, that day was truly a celebration of love ...
Catch "Infinite Possibilities" the radio show of Francine delas Alas at DZRJ-AM 810 khz. Every M-W-F at 2-3pm, you will not just be informed, you will be INSPIRED! I guested last Dec 16 when her topic was about "Turning Your Passion Into Fulfillment". I shared how I was able to switch from a regular 9-5 corporate job to having a fulfilling profession as a photographer. It was my first time to guest in a radio show and it was fun! Thanks Chinne! =)
Okay, you may start drooling over these lovely, lovely pieces of vintage jewelry! I did Jewelry Photography for the website of Essence of Renaissance. They have plenty more necklaces, earrings, rings and pendants, personally collected from travels to Portugal, Spain, Norway, England, France, India and other countries. Check them out at www.essenceofrenaissance.multiply.com
Taking photos of Toddler Twins really make me happy. I really feel like I'm sharing in their double blessings! hehehe... The Twins are celebrating their First Birthday soon, so aside from their Family Photographs, we also took photos for their Birthday materials --- but those photos are a secret - a surprise for their birthday! =)
Maternity Photography with client Diane Grace. A Filipino Nurse based abroad, she took a break from work and came home to Manila when she got pregnant. Her husband is coming home this Christmas to be with his precious family =)
I loved how we finally convinced Paul to join his wife in the Maternity Photo Session and how their photos turned out SOOOO BEAUTIFUL! So to the soon-to-be-daddies, do not be afraid --- i'll make sure your photos turn out great =)
Food Photography for Buko Maxx. Try this very refreshing drink at selected SM outlets in Metro Manila.
These beautiful ladies recommend Buko Maxx for their health benefits. Did you know that people in the US are going crazy for Buko Juice (or Coconut Water) with exercise buffs drinking this instead of Gatorade!
A lot of people don't know that Buko Juice, which sounds so common to us Filipinos, has really superb health benefits: It's great for keeping fit as it raises metabolism and promotes weight loss! It's also a useful drink for people on the go as Buko Juice strengthens your immune system and boosts poor circulation! It helps the body fight viruses, cleanses your digestive tract, helps control diabetes, and so many many more!
Okay. I'm not sure if I'm even halfway done, but this update has gotten sooo long. So I might as well do a Part 2 to be posted soon... Thanks!
“… I know…”
This is what Han Solo replied in the scene where he was about to be frozen in carbonate and Princess Leia declared her love for him. I read that in the original script, Han Solo was supposed to give the usual response “I love you, too” but it was a great improvisation by Harrison Ford that made this line “… I know…” etched in people’s memories.
When you see the Lagdameo’s, you KNOW their family is filled with love. You feel their bond. You see their closeness. They’re like friends, having fun, laughing, teasing and being loving… you just look at them and you’ll know that they have such a great relationship as husband and wife, and as parents to their child. Its just so special…
So, see the Lagdameos and their bonding photo session below …
They had a full sched that afternoon – our photo session, a movie date, then dinner at the mall. Janice and her 5-year old son, Uno, spend their days together --- and these are happy days I’m sure! Janice brings him to school and attends his activities. Then Uno also goes with his mom to her activities – lunching with friends and even going to Divisoria once! Such busy bees these two =)
View photos below and see the closeness of the two. So sweet and loving! I'm truly grateful for being a witness to such precious bond between a mother and her son. Thank you Janice and Uno =)
I think twins are just amazing. They’re a double blessing from God! For those who don’t have twins, it’s probably like having 2 scoops of ice cream with 2 doses of chocolate syrup topped with 2 heaps of chocolate chips! Fun =)
So anyway, I was happy to have my first twin shoot of Megan and Colin (with my daughter Bea playing with them in the background. But I’m not displaying her pics this time so you don’t get tired of seeing her face all over my materials =) ) Colin was quite shy at first but warmed up later on after lots of playing, running and sweating! Hahah! While Megan, the little lady that she is, was very cooperative and sweet. Soon we got them sitting together exchanging cute hugs and kisses and being the bestest sister and brother to each other.
So here’s a double serving of Megan & Collin =)
Lea is a wife, mother and photographer. She created "Sunshiny Days" the blog page of The Yellow Sun Studio to share how she is touched by the lives of other people as she captures their precious moments with her camera.
